Ramsbottom loves to keep things lively. Our year-round events calendar is packed with festivals, workshops, performances and community initiatives that bring the town to life week after week. Small in size but big in personality, Ramsbottom invites visitors and locals to dive into the fun.

Highlights include the World Famous Black Pudding Throwing Championship, filling the town with good-humoured energy, and the Ramsbottom Chocolate & Cheese Festival, celebrating makers, flavours, and creativity. From May to September, bargain hunters can also explore the popular Ramsbottom Rotary Car Boot every Sunday at Station Road, next to the East Lancashire Railway. Seasonal markets, wellness activities, family days, and food-focused events showcase the town at its best.
