Velvet first opened its doors in 2010 with Debbie at the helm, later moving to its beautiful home on Bridge Street in 2016. Now stepping into our 16th year, we’re proud to have grown into an award-winning boutique known for its warm welcome, exceptional service, and genuinely fabulous team.
In 2019, when the former NatWest Bank premises became available just along the street, Debbie spotted an opportunity. With vision and the support of her close-knit team and family, Velvet expanded—introducing a second store dedicated to menswear. Six years on, it’s a thriving part of the Velvet story, shaped by customer demand and brought to life with the same care, style, and attention to detail.
