Ramsbottom Rotary Club Duck Race

The Ramsbottom Rotary Club Duck Race is a fun, community‑spirited event where hundreds of rubber ducks race down the river to raise funds for local causes. Families, friends and visitors gather riverside to cheer on their brightly numbered ducks, enjoy refreshments and join in the lively atmosphere. It’s a cheerful celebration of friendly competition and giving back, reflecting Ramsbottom’s strong community spirit and charitable traditions.

Join us on Sunday 24th May for a totally quackers day out where locals, families and businesses will be putting these rubber ducks through their paces on the River Irwell for great prizes and ultimate bragging rights!

First ducks home (in two races) win…

1st – £250
2nd – £150
3rd – £100

All proceeds go to local charities and good causes, so every duck you enter helps make a difference.
