Ramsbottom Jigsaw Festival
September 2 – September 5
Every September, Ramsbottom Jigsaw Festival brings the town together for a unique and fun-filled community event at St Paul’s Church in the centre of Ramsbottom. Hundreds of jigsaw puzzles are on display, all available to buy, have been broken up and boxed so you can take them home and enjoy assembling them yourself. The display is always changing, so as one puzzle is sold, another takes its place, making every visit a new experience.
This festival is more than just puzzles – it’s a celebration of community. People from far and wide contribute throughout the year by assembling and donating puzzles and there are plenty of opportunities to get involved during the festival itself. Volunteers are always welcome, whether it’s helping set up, guiding visitors, or sharing in the fun of the day.
The festival is a joint venture between St Paul’s and Edenfield Parish Church, with proceeds supporting the upkeep of these historic buildings. It’s a wonderful way to enjoy a creative day out, support local heritage and connect with the people of Ramsbottom.
Whether you’re a puzzle enthusiast or just looking for a family-friendly event, the Ramsbottom Jigsaw Festival is a highlight of the town’s calendar, attracting hundreds of visitors and celebrating the spirit of community in our beautiful town.
